At Lonestar Acoustics, we are passionate about improving other people’s spaces. Based in Allen, a suburb of Dallas, TX, we are proud to have built a reputation on the quality of our products, the level of service we provide to our customers, and our knowledge and expertise in the industry.

Our large and growing customer base is made up of clients in a diverse range of industries, such as large corporate offices, call centers, counseling centers, industrial and manufacturing facilities, financial centers, and healthcare facilities.

Our Founder

Owner & Director of Operations

Lonestar Acoustics is owned and operated by Eric Dollyhigh, a seasoned professional with more than 16 years of experience in the sound masking and acoustical engineering industry. Eric began his career installing systems in the field, gaining hands-on expertise that continues to shape how Lonestar approaches every project today. Over the course of his career, he has personally installed more than 50,000 sound masking emitters and supported projects in all 50 states.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Eric also holds a Master’s degree in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. His blend of technical knowledge, thoughtful leadership, and genuine, people-first approach has helped establish Lonestar Acoustics as a trusted partner nationwide.

Outside of work, Eric is a devoted dad of four. His faith and family strongly influence how he approaches leadership, relationships, and life. He enjoys time in the garage, watching Aggie football and NASCAR, fishing, and getting outdoors with his kids.

Susan Dollyhigh

OFFICE MANAGER

Susan brings steadiness, organization, and genuine care to the company’s daily operations. Since 2021, she has managed invoicing, certificates of insurance, vendor packets, administrative support, and customer service.

Known for her down-to-earth personality and strong attention to detail, she keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes and is an essential part of Lonestar’s workflow. Susan is also a published author and a woman of deep faith who brings warmth and integrity to everything she does.

Joel McCune

SALES EXECUTIVE

Joel joined Lonestar Acoustics in June 2023 and serves as a Sales Executive focused on system design, customer care, and clear communication. He supports end users and integrators nationwide through sound masking layouts, calls, and design reviews, helping them feel confident in every system.

Known for his honesty and dependable service, he manages a large volume of accounts and is trusted for his integrity and follow-through. Around the office, he brings energy and humor, often cooking on the Blackstone and keeping the team laughing.

Outside of work, Joel is a husband and dad of two who enjoys cooking, camping, college football, and time with his family.

Drew Dollyhigh

FULFILLMENT & MEDIA ASSISTANT

Drew joined Lonestar Acoustics in 2024 and supports the team in hands-on ways each day. While homeschooling part-time from the office, he handles shipping, packing, inventory, and assists with system design. He also manages the company’s YouTube channel with a creative, tech-savvy approach.

Reliable, teachable, and willing to take initiative, Drew brings valuable help to the team and is gaining real-world experience uncommon for his age. Outside of work, he enjoys sports cards, football, NASCAR, and serving in his church’s youth group.
